Principal Lawyer

Caroline is an experienced litigator, specialising in Local Government prosecution and enforcement matters. She has over 10 years’ experience advising Local Government clients and conducting prosecutions related to building; planning and environment; public health and wellbeing; domestic animals; and local laws.

She has also developed strong and diverse litigation skills working with commercial clients in the areas of bankruptcy and insolvency; domestic building disputes; and debt recovery.

  • Conducting all aspects of insolvency litigation on behalf of both liquidators and State Government clients, in the Supreme Court.
  • Providing advice and conducting prosecutions on behalf of Local Government clients in relation to regulatory compliance matters in the Magistrates’ Court.
  • Appearing at mediation on behalf of clients to reach efficient, practical, and commercially-focused outcomes.
  • Providing clear, practical, and precise legal advice around business restructuring, agreements and dispute resolution.

Prior to joining FCW Lawyers, Caroline worked for a number of national law firms and has also litigated serious offender matters on behalf of the State of Victoria.
