Natalie is an accomplished senior lawyer in the Dispute Resolution and Insolvency team.
As a commercial litigator, Natalie specialises in civil and commercial litigation, insolvency and debt recovery. Natalie acts for a broad range of clients from small to medium companies, as well as privately owned and ASX listed companies throughout Australia.
Natalie previously worked in boutique law firms, beginning her career in Adelaide, before moving to Melbourne in 2021. Natalie joined FCW Lawyers in 2022, following the merger with Harrick Lawyers.
Insolvency expertise
With broad experience across insolvency matters, Natalie acts for business owners, company directors, creditors, liquidators and trustees, as well as individuals facing bankruptcy. Natalie advises her clients on the complex rights and responsibilities that can arise during personal insolvency, voluntary administration and liquidation processes. Driven to find practical and commercially sound solutions for her clients.
Natalie regularly has carriage of matters in the Federal Court of Australia, Victorian Supreme Court, and South Australian Supreme Court.
Managing complicated litigation
A talented litigator, Natalie relishes the challenges involved with litigation and dispute resolution. Natalie enjoys understanding the complexity involved in disputes and strives to provide her clients with both practical and commercial advice, in addition to helping them navigate the difficult litigation process.
Natalie works across a range of complex litigation matters including contracts, shareholder/director disputes. Drawing on her insolvency experience, Natalie also expertly manages insolvent trading matters and voidable transactions.
Natalie also has experience in Insider Trading claims and acts for clients in defending such claims.
Personal Property Securities Register
Natalie has a particular passion and understanding of the Personal Property Securities Act (PPSA). She advises on all aspects of the PPSA, including drafting and advising on PPSA clauses in contracts and terms/conditions, advising on registrations generally, including defective registrations and issues in insolvency. Natalie also manages litigation arising from PSSA priority and perfection disputes and has experience in litigation relating to applications to register out of time.
Community minded
Natalie views the law as a powerful tool and uses her skills as a lawyer to give back to the community by volunteering at Fitzroy Legal Service. There she uses her legal skills and experience providing pro-bono legal advice to disadvantaged people in the Melbourne community.
With a proud Italian heritage, and having studied abroad in Milan, Natalie also continues to foster close ties with the Australian Italian Community in Melbourne.
