Holly Grujovski

A senior lawyer in the Corporate & Commercial team, Holly’s legal practice is best described as “hands on” and “down-to-earth”. Since hailing from the sandy beaches of Newcastle NSW, Holly has worked exclusively in boutique commercial law firms in Sydney before joining FCW Lawyers (including 6+ years with Ledlin Lawyers who merged with FCW Lawyers in 2023).

Commercial Law

No two clients are the same when you’re working with Holly. Holly helps the people in business of all sizes and industry sectors to navigate the legal landscape and commercial challenges that arise throughout the business lifecycle. This includes implementing contracts, collections process and procedure, the Personal Property Securities Act regime, debt recovery, commercial disputes and customer insolvency.

A natural problem solver and outcome-focussed lawyer, Holly is driven to negotiate settlements that protect her client’s commercial interests and keep them out of Court wherever possible. But if a more practical and cost-effective outcome can’t be achieved first, Holly is adept at managing the litigation process across a broad range of commercial disputes and insolvency.

With expertise in the complexities of the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (PPSA), Holly helps her clients to navigate the PPSA scheme and customer insolvency by ensuring that security interests are protected in commercial contracts and PPSR registrations are perfected.

Experience

Holly is experienced in acting for and advising clients in:

  • Contracts, including terms and conditions of business, credit account applications, PPSA provisions, personal guarantees, security agreements, supply agreements, partnership and shareholder agreements, and joint venture agreements.
  • Commercial dispute resolution.
  • Debt recovery.
  • Insolvency, including bankruptcy, voluntary administrations and winding up of companies. This includes acting for the liquidator, administrator or bankruptcy and acting for the creditor.
  • Privacy, including privacy policies and procedures, data breach response plans and advising on data breaches.
Qualifications
  • LLB and Bachelor of Social Science, University of Newcastle
  • Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, College of Law
  • Mental Health First Aid certification for Legal Professionals with the MHFA Australia Team through the College of Law (2020)
